Blogging is a powerful Affiliate Marketing technique. If you are not using blogs to promote affiliate products , you are missing out on huge traffic and sales.
Out of so many blogging platforms , Blogger and Wordpress are the best-loved by Google , especially Blogger blogs. Ha , Maybe because Google owns Blogger, that's why. Just joking !
Blogger has a simple to use interface and templates are search engine optimized. Each blog is hosted on a subdomain. But even the subdomains ( i.e. XXXX.blogspot.com ) gets quite a fair bit of PR. This is important for ranking high in the search engines.
Wordpress has more features and powerful plug-ins that even self-promote the blogs.
Consider creating a blog as a platform to communicate your ideas and interact with your prospects and customers.
Be sure to ping your blogs each time you post new content. It brings in the search engine spiders quickly. Use Technorati , Pingomatic and Pingoat. But be sure not to overdo it as it will be seen as S-P-A-M !
