How To Increase Website Traffic ?

How To Increase Website Traffic ?

Looking to increase website traffic ?

If you've been active in Internet Marketing or have owned a Website for more than a couple of weeks ... You already know how important Website Traffic is !

The problem is, there are so many different ways to get Website Traffic, it's difficult to know which course to take.

1. ) You could just buy "Pay-Per-Click" ( PPC ) Advertising as this can be done rather quickly and generates traffic right away. The problem is ... This traffic doesn't come cheap, and if you haven't thoroughly studied this form of traffic already, you're liable to spend your ad budget faster than you can say, "Lickety-Split !"

The other problem is ... you need to stay in this game long enough to find out which keywords are actually bringing sales and which ones are merely bringing "lookey-loo" type visitors which weren't planning on buying anything in the first place.

2. ) You could spend your time learning "Search Engine Optimization" ( SEO ) but the learning curve on this is pretty sizeable and while the rewards are certainly worthwhile, they're slow in coming.

It typically takes 30-90 days ( at minimum ) to really see any dramatic improvement in traffic from pure SEO techniques.

3. ) You could get yourself involved in "Black-Hat" techniques which generate a quick surge of traffic by trying to fake out the Search Engines, but beware ...! As soon as the Search Engines catch on, and they will, you'll be penalized and possibly even de-listed.

That's right, you could find that your site has been removed from the Search Engine's index and therefore, can never be found unless someone actually types your website's URL directly in their browser!

Success on Article Marketing – Part 4 of 5

Success on Article Marketing – Part 4 of 5

In part three of this Article Marketing series ; lets discussed what not to do when writing and submitting articles. Those seven tips were focused on keeping you out of “hot water” with the Article Directory Editors but they weren’t necessarily “sexy.”

In part four, I’ll try to spice things up a bit !

We’ll discuss how to craft a compelling Resource Box that concentrates on “getting clicks.” After all, the whole reason we’re involved in Article Marketing is to get our Target Audience to read our articles and then CLICK the link(s) we provide in our Resource Box ... isn’t it ?

Here’s 5 tips to make your Resource Box a winner :

1. ) Write your Resource Box text in the “third-person.” While it may seem silly, readers find them to be much more credible than those written in the “first-person.” You will get a whole lot more clicks if your Resource box says, “Author Name is ...” rather than “I am ...” – You get the picture.

2. ) Your Resource Box should include information which speaks to your expertise. If you’re writing an article about “Gardening,” you might include a statement like ... “Author Name has been gardening for over 22 years ...” Any honest, statement of credibility will be well-received.

3. ) Include a clear “Call-To-Action.” It can be subtle, like “please visit : YourDomain.com” or more direct, like “Click here =>.” Just make sure to include a call-to-action or you’ll miss out on a whole lot of clicks !

4. ) Use “Anchor Text” links whenever the article directory allows. Anchor Text is any piece of text that is hyperlinked to a website. If this isn’t clear, look at my Resource Box. You’ll find the words; “Article Domination Method” is hyperlinked to my site. This is an “Anchor Text” link and it will boost your site’s Search Engine Optimization.

5. ) Direct your Target Audience ( your readers ) to some form of “free offer.” It could be a free video, an ebook or anything else of value to your market. Just make sure to use an autoresponder to capture your visitor’s contact information in the process.

Hopefully, this article will have been a great benefit to you ! I can’t emphasize enough how important it is to craft a compelling Resource Box.

It’s quite a shame ; many article writers spend lots of time on their “body content” and then fail miserably with their Resource Box.

Remember, we’re involved in Article Marketing because we want Targeted Traffic to our websites. If we’re not bringing traffic, we might as well just buy PPC advertising !

In the next article, the last in this series, we’ll discuss some of the tools available to the Article Marketer and reveal important resources as well.

Stay tuned ...

Success on Article Marketing – Part 3 of 5

Success on Article Marketing – Part 3 of 5

In part two of this Article Marketing series ; I discussed the importance of writing “killer” titles. By “killer,” I mean, titles that will be loved ( and accepted ) by the Article Directory Editors, found by the Search Engines, and compel your Target Audience to read what you have to say.

In part three, i’ll pick up where we left off and offer more tips designed to improve our Article Marketing efforts. Today’s tips will primarily focus on what not to do when writing and submitting articles.

This section may not be “sexy,” but it’s important to remember ... Article Directory Editors are under no obligation to accept or publish your articles !

Giving the Editors articles that follow their terms is the first step in getting them accepted. This is extremely important as we’re not writing these articles because we love to write ... are we ?

We’re writing them to gain wide-exposure. The only way to achieve this is with the help of the Article Directory Editors.

That said, here are 7 tips to make sure you don’t get “black-listed” and ruin any chances of Article Marketing success.

1. ) Articles must not contain information deemed unethical by the Editors. Check each directory if unsure, each has it’s own set of rules and regulations.

2. ) You may not submit the same article twice to the same directory. Apparently, some authors were re-submitting articles after making only minor “tweaks” to them.

3. ) Articles must not contain information the Editors deem illegal, immoral or which promote hate or violence.

4. ) Most Article Directories do not allow you to include direct affiliate links. Make sure to check the terms of each directory you submit to.

5. ) Be consistent with your punctuation. Include one or two spaces after a period, but be consistent. If doing the “...” thing, always include three dots. If separating text with a hyphen, use two ( example; “- -“. Never include a space before a comma or period.

6. ) You are not allowed to include any type of title with your name unless it is of “Doctorate Level” ( i.e. Dr., MD, PhD, etc )

7. ) Format your articles to 60 characters per line and remove word-processing formatting and any unnecessary line breaks. A line break ( also referred to as a hard-break ) occurs anytime you hit the [Enter] key and should only be used between paragraphs.

While I’m sure I haven’t covered everything, these 7 tips will help you stay in the “good graces” of Article Directory Editors everywhere.

The “Golden Rule” is alive and well ! Treat each Editor with kindness and respect and they in turn, will promote your articles for maximum effect.

Well, this may not have been the “sexiest” article I’ve ever written but it’s vital to your Article Marketing success nonetheless.

Stay tuned ...
as i’ll be covering more proven Article Marketing Tips in part four of this five-part series.

How Articles Growing Your Traffic ?

How Articles Growing Your Traffic ?

In an online business, one of the most important thing is to master the art of growing traffic. You can either do it by pay per click or using other free methods like blogging or writing articles. Every method has its own pros and cons. It is just how you manage them to your advantage.

I personally prefer growing my traffic with articles writing. Here are some things to take note when you are writing your articles. The main purpose is to provide content and interest the reader to click on your link in the resource box to go to your website. The website where they are taken to must have the same theme as the article. Readers are clever enough to see your plot to just promote them some affiliate products.

Writing more isn’t better everytime. The more you write doesn’t mean the more you will earn from affiliate commissions. There are articles which are just mass produced by some article generators. Do you think your readers are robots ?

Always write in the shoes of your reader and not for the sake of making a sale. This way, your article will be more inclined to solving your readers’ problem and they will buy your solution. It is a bit of a copywriting thing involved.

Spreading your articles the correct way will definitely give your article the attention it deserves and give a boost to your traffic. There are many stories about submitting the same article to multiple directories may actually do more SEO harm to your article. So to avoid this, it is sufficient to distribute your article to the top article directories with high PR and high reader base. In this way you can get readers from both search engines and the article directories. Do it on a regular basis, and you will be able to grow your traffic with loyal readers who will always buy on your recommendations.

Take action now and start to write an article on your own. If you really dread doing this, outsource it to a ghost writer but remember to check the quality of your articles before you submit them to an article directory.

Article Marketing With PLR Articles

Article Marketing With PLR Articles

Article marketing is an excellent way to drive traffic to your website. Be it in affiliate marketing or simply to provide a product review. But most people are lazy to write or they complain that writing is a chore.

On the internet, there are no teachers to judge you on your writing skills as long as you do not make any serious grammatical errors. Most people are still tolerant to a bit of errors as no one is perfect in writing except writers.

To many people, a perfect solution to writing is PLR articles.

However, I choose to think otherwise. PLR articles are a major problem if they are used as it is. This create a large amount of duplicate content on the internet and Google is all out to stop this. I dont’t know about Yahoo and MSN. But to get delisted or flagged for duplicate content site spells big trouble for your website.

You will lose lots of traffic to your site if you do not have any other traffic generation methods.

The best content is created by yourself. I am not saying that you should not use PLR articles at all.

Here’s are some tips for you if you desperately need to use it.

* Change the introduction. Rewrite it yourself by adding some personal opinion.

* Rephrase some of the sentence in the other paragraphs.

* Rewrite the conclusion to add in some valuable personal insight to the subject.

There you have your own article created from your library of PLR articles. My experience is that the rewritten article should be at least 70% different from the original PLR article.

Who says writing is hard ? You can do it too.

Is Article Marketing Dead ?

Is Article Marketing Dead ?

A million dollar question again ? Nope.

Article marketing is really alive and kicking for those who thinks that it is dead. I would like to say that perseverance is the key to success to article writing. Though you may not see immediate results like PPC, the efforts builds up as you write more articles.

Here are the things you gain with article writing :

* Credibility ( People see you as an expert )

* Free traffic ( You save a all your money on PPC and gets to pocket all the commissions with some “hard” work )

* Recurring traffic ( People will follow to read your new published article like clockwork )

* Customer loyalty ( People buy from you again and again whenever you promote a new product )

* And much more ...

The best article directories you can submit to are those crowding with readers belonging to the niche you are targeting, not just those with high traffic. Those with high page rank might help to rank your articles high up in the search engines like Google where you can get more free targeted traffic. Last thing, write for human beings to read and not for the search engines.

3 Explosive And Proven Ways To Make Money With Articles

3 Explosive And Proven Ways To Make Money With Articles

Dear Marketers,

Do you know one of the best ways to earn some cash online is to write and submit articles.

You can actually make up to one hundred dollars per day or more. Here's three ways for you to really profit from simple, short articles ...

Way #1 :
One of the best ways for you to cash in with articles is to become a "freelance writer". This isn't as complicated as you might think. If you can type decently, and can do some simple research, you can do pretty well for yourself.

All you need to do is set up an account on "elance.com" and offer your writing services at an affordable rate. If you charge around eight dollars per 350 article and you can write twelve to fifteen articles per day, you can see how easy you could earn a hundred dollars or more per day.

If you want to make more cash, write more articles and if you want to only make forty dollars per day, then only write five articles. I'm telling you right now, there are literally hundreds of people who earn a lot of money with articles using this exact method. Give it a try.

Way #2 :
Another excellent idea to make money with articles is to take all of the articles you have written and compile them into an ebook.

Since you've already done the writing, all you need to do is string ten or twenty articles together and turn it into a thirty or forty page ebook. You can sell your ebook for twenty dollars or more per copy and really start to cash in and make money with your articles.

Way #3 :
One of my favorite ways to make money with articles is to sell them as "private label rights". What you can do is, put together a batch of ten to twenty articles or more and offer them to others with the rights to use them as they see fit. You can charge way more these types of articles because you are giving people the exclusive rights to use them in anyway they might need.

If you are really serious and want to honestly make money with articles, then give these methods a shot.

Success on Article Marketing – Part 2 of 5

Success on Article Marketing – Part 2 of 5

In part one of this Article Marketing series ; we learn the importance of three things to consider when writing articles ... Your articles must be loved by the Article Directory Editors, the Search Engines and your Target Audience.

We also covered five tips to help improve each of these fundamental areas.

In part two, we’ll pick up where we left off and offer more tips designed to improve your Article Marketing efforts. Today’s tips will focus on the do’s and don’ts of writing “killer” Titles.

Quality title-writing is of the utmost importance and completely blundered by many article writers. That said, here are 5 tips to make sure you stand “head and shoulders” above the crowd :

1. ) The Title of your article should be in upper/lower case. It’s best to capitalize the first letter of each word, although you can choose not to capitalize “minor” words like “to,” “and,” “for,” etc. but that’s entirely up to you. Do not, however, put your Title in “all-caps” as this is not appreciated ( or accepted ) by most Article Directory Editors.

2. ) Don’t put quotes around your Title. This is great for a headline on your own website, but the Editors don’t want to see them in your Article’s Title.

3. ) No HTML coding is generally allowed in your Title so don’t use it. Remember, we’re trying to give the Editors what they want. They’re under no obligation to accept and publish our articles.

4. ) Don’t put a period at the end of your Title. If you do use any punctuation at all, say an exclamation point or question mark, use only one. The Editors don’t want ... “Check This Out!!!!”

5. ) In order to get lots of traffic to your article, make sure you put keywords into your Titles that are actually being searched upon. Your most important keywords should be placed within the first 3-4 words of your title.

In summary, make sure your Titles comply with the regulations set forth by the Article Directory Editors, and are “keyword-rich.”

If your Title contains keywords that are actually being searched upon, and if it’s written in a way that invokes curiosity, your articles will be read.

Stay tuned, as we’ll be covering more proven Article Marketing Tips in part three of this five-part series.

Success on Article Marketing – Part 1 of 5

Success on Article Marketing - Part 1 of 5

Article Marketing is certainly nothing new, but in order for it to be wildly successful ; you must remember three things ...

a ) Your articles have to be loved by the Article Directory Editors or they won’t be accepted. Take some time to familiarize yourself with each directories terms, you’ll be glad you did.

b ) Your articles have to be loved by the Search Engines in order for your articles to be found. Articles which are “keyword-rich” will be found much more often.

c ) Your articles have to be loved by the Audience you are targeting, ( i.e. your readers ). Providing useful, enjoyable content will increase your readership and the number of Publishers that will make your articles available on their sites.

If your articles meet the criteria, above, your articles will be accepted, found, read, enjoyed and most importantly ... Will bring Targeted Website Traffic to the site( s ) you list in your Resource Box.

While it’s not difficult, there are a number of things you must know ( and do ) to ensure your success with Article Marketing. In this article, I will give you five tips to improve the effectiveness of every article you write.

Here are 5 tips ; more will follow in parts 2 through 5.

1 ) Make sure you’re submitting original content. Nothing will upset an Article Directory Editor faster than if you submit some Private Label Rights article found on thousands of sites.

2 ) Write your articles in the preferred formats. Editors like informative articles that share your expertise. Articles that include tips, strategies, how-to’s, case-studies, reviews, opinions and commentaries are well-received.

3 ) Write articles that give valuable benefit to your readers. Articles which are considered “hypey,” i.e. excessive self-promotion, a sales letter or even a press release won’t be accepted.

4 ) You must use decent English. It doesn’t have to be Shakespeare, but be sure to use proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc ...

5 ) Articles must not contain information the editors deem illegal, immoral or promoting hate or violence.

In summary, if you’re writing articles that are loved by Article Directory Editors, Search Engines and your Targeted Audience, you’ll find a whole lot of success with your Article Marketing efforts.
